Typewriters too?!

Typewriters are often viewed as out-of-date and old fashioned.
Back in the day there were some incredibly gorgeous looking styles of these magnificent word machines. Artist Cioccolato-Kun came up with some vintage typewriter gijinka because “why not?”. Sounds like a good enough reason to me! Don’t forget to check out more from Cioccolato-kun HERE, HERE, & HERE!

Soda Gijinka

Gijinka, the art of personifying just about anything, always yields amusing results.

These gijinkas for sodas help drive that point home! The talented artist Rev created these cuties featuring drinks like Pepsi, Coke, and even Fanta! Check them out below and don’t forget to show the artist some love HERE!

Tiny Inquisition

If there is one thing popular among geeky collectors it’s figurines.
Some series have more available than others which can leave fans feeling like there isn’t much out there for them. Artist Fiona Ng takes matters like this into her own hands! Last time I featured Fiona it was for her incredible custom Big Sister figure. This time it’s for her absolutly adorable Dragon Age Inquisition cast! These figures are a palm-sized 3 inches and custom made from resin. Be sure to check out more of Fiona’s work HERE!

Australian Pokemon

People have been creating their own kinds of Pokemon since the start of the sensation decades ago.
While the recent Alolan Pokemon (based on the Hawaiian Islands) were certainly a breath of fresh air another place that would spawn an incredible set of Pokemon all of their own is of course Australia! Pixel artist Paul Robertson, best known for his work on the Scott Pilgrim game and his part in the popular series Gravity Falls, has taken the challenge to create a set of completely new Pokemon based entirely about Australia. These are based on not just animals, but also plants, food, places, and even sayings. Buckle your seat belts for this one, kiddos, for there are a whopping 151 to go through!

As always, to find more of Paul’s art, go HERE, and HERE!

Windows to the Soul

It is said that the eyes are the window to the soul.
If so, then some animated characters might have to worry about their soul escaping their bodies through their eyes! Artist thenamelessdoll saw this as a chance to practice her  “manipulation/anatomy skills” and the results are delightful!
