Tabletop rople playing game (TTRPG) adoptables refer to visual designs that serve as a foundation for creating your own TTRPG character. While you have the freedom to name the character, develop their personality, establish character stats, feats/flaws, and background information, it is important to note that the original art for the design should not be edited or altered. Proper credit must be given to me as the creator of the design and artwork whenever it is used.
Upon purchase, you are granted the following rights and acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Terms of Use:
Ownership and Rights:
a. The Artist retains all rights, title, and ownership of the original artwork of the Character.
b. The Artist retains the right to display all adoptable work on any personal website, gallery, or blog.
b. You may not claim the original artwork as your own at any time.
Personal Use:
a. The Character’s artwork is licensed for personal use only.
b. This includes using the artwork for online graphics in streamed tabletop role-playing games (TTRPGs), even for profit, provided proper credit to the Artist is provided.
Commercial Use Restrictions:
a. The Character’s artwork may not be used or edited for commercial purposes, including but not limited to creating Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), using the Character as a mascot or the face of a commercial project or logo, or any other creation intended for sale as part of your own project.
b. You may resize or crop the artwork to create icons, wallpapers, or other graphics to be used in non-commercial digital format.
c. You may also upload the artwork to your personal website or gallery, but credit to the artist is required.
Modification Requests:
a. The artwork is provided on an “as-is” basis, and no alterations or modifications will be made by the Artist.
Commissioning and Profiting from the Design:
a. You are permitted to commission other artists for commercial art of this specific Character design.
b. You may also profit from your own art of this specific Character design.
Specific to Adopted Design:
a. These terms of use apply to the specific art piece you have acquired and do not grant you the permission to the general use of the Artist’s other works.
Acknowledgment and Agreement:
a. By purchasing the Character design, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Terms of Use.
The Artist retains the right to take appropriate action against any violation of these terms. Failure to comply may result in legal consequences and/or being blacklisted.
